Guys, will you appreaciate a balloon delivery?

i want to say sorry to my boyfriend and i want to deliver him a bunch of balloons says %26quot;i love you%26quot; . will he appreciate it? he is a shy guy, works in a big firm,.. and the balloons may arrive at the office, with all the office mates, and his juniors, and seniours... bosses...or would you prefer flowers?

Guys, will you appreaciate a balloon delivery?
Guys don%26#039;t want flowers or balloons.

Cook him a big meal or give him a private massage.
Reply:Since he is a shy guy, I do not think he would appreciate the balloons.

Besides, everyone in the office would have a field day talking and teasing him about it....

Flowers....another no....might look sissy to most people.

Deliver them both to his house instead.

If he is not difficult to please, then something simple would be meaningful to him too. What does he like?

Is it a simple keychain as mentioned by Ginduras? lol....

Maybe a small cake with the word, %26#039;%26#039;Sorry%26#039;%26#039; on it.

Good luck :~)
Reply:i would certaily prefer flowers,to baloons, baloons a certain no no.

Or send the baloon to his house instead. outside the main doon .It dosent matter even if it is apartment.blue baloons are really good.red 1ce become light wen they expand.u personally deliver them with ur very own hands
Reply:%26quot;shy guy, works in a big firm%26quot;...

Flowers. Home.

Balloons - perhaps, but then also home.

Never. Ever. Balloons. At the office:)
Reply:That%26#039;s really sweet of you. Well, I%26#039;m sure your boyfriend is a working adult so by giving him balloons isn%26#039;t a very good idea. Trust me. :-|

If I were you, I wouldn%26#039;t be sending him flowers too. Try sending him a box of chocolate, a neck tie, a bottle of perfume, after shave or his favourite CD. I%26#039;m sure he%26#039;ll appreciate any of those more.
Reply:If I were your bf %26amp; shy, I would definitely feel uncomfortable when the ballons or flowers reached me while I%26#039;m working. Or if you insist on sending them, do it after office hours %26amp; send them to his house. Personally, I prefer something more private, like an SMS or a call.
Reply:ok
Reply:Oh man, he%26#039;s going to jump out the office window the moment his office staff sees the ballons.
Reply:tats so sweeeeet...

if my gf do any of these to me, i%26#039;d be very happy
Reply:Not balloon please.

Replace with condom (blow as balloon) would be better %26amp; send in yourself.
Reply:you give a key chain is enough for me la....
Reply:hi,i wouldnt send ballons to his work,he would propally get embarased and also trying to get them in his car when he leaves work might be difficult, how about sending them to his house instead?
Reply:Perhaps you can send him a %26quot;Singing Telegram%26quot;. Instead of sending a beautiful half naked girls as the norm, send hima Singing Telegram Granny.

That will definetely melt his heart and he will forgive you immediately.

But by all means, do not send him a bunch of flowers or baloon. It will surely backfire as you had mentioned that he is a shy guy and work in a big firm

Reply:i think... that the balloon delivery... is fantastic!

it%26#039;s very unique....

if it%26#039;s your other option, which is flowers, i think, that%26#039;s too common..

maybe, by delivering those balloons, he would also feel your sincerity to him that you even exerted your effort in thinking of that unique idea just to say sorry to him...

why not, add more messages on the balloon, so that he would really appreciate so much...

good luck with the balloons!! :)

What are some fun and different delivery ideas for Valentine's Day??

A co-worker recommended a chocolate covered giant fortune cookie, and I don%26#039;t know if that%26#039;s what I%26#039;m looking for but maybe something else along those lines thats different from just plain flowers or teddy bears getting delivered. Something fun!

What are some fun and different delivery ideas for Valentine%26#039;s Day??
Have a teddy bear or chocolates delivered, but wear a red cap and a track suit and deliver it yourself to his place of work. Pretend you don%26#039;t know him and just be a delivery girl. Go through the routine and say %26quot;Hi. Can you sign here please?... Here%26#039;s your copy%26quot;. If you%26#039;re daring, wear an extraordinarily short skirt and a low cut top. Make your own invoice - %26quot; 1 x Teddy bear, 1 x Long Passionate Kiss (Delivery this evening)%26quot;

Finally, put at the bottom of the invoice %26quot;Our drivers cannot accept tips, but french kisses are always appreciated%26quot;
Reply:go to his door in a crotchless g string, apron, heals and and over coat. Knock on his door and when he opens it take off the trench coat and tell him your his waitress for the evening and your here to serve him. He%26#039;ll never forget it.
Reply:There are several places that would be more than willing to deliver. I%26#039;ve found some unique idea%26#039;s, that I love. The fortune cookie idea went over with ton%26#039;s of raves. But he enjoyed the pantygram, and naughty pic%26#039;s I sent even alot better.

I%26#039;m sure you%26#039;ll find something delectible. If not, have a scavenger hunt. That was a WHOLE LOT OF FUN!!

Take care...and good luck!
Reply:Yes. A lunch date with YOU!

You pay for the lunch - perhaps on a Saturday afternoon.

Make him a card - ok, you may cheat by going to the card section of the store and get great ideas. Guys don%26#039;t admit it but they never get %26quot;handmade%26quot; cards - just for them.

Now if you have any money left over (because you might get a new dress for this occasion), get him a small present - yes very small - like candy - you know those little hearts with those %26quot;sayings%26quot; on them like %26#039;kiss me%26#039;, etc.

Ask him to dress up - and take him to a nice restaurant but make sure it%26#039;s a place where the two of you will be comfortable.

Now - for you - Show up wearing that spectacular dress that you look - so great, fine and awesome in.

Wear those stockings, nice jewlery, nice earrrings, and great perfume (if you can get pheromone - which has a different scent on everyone).

Do your nails and makeup - again you will look so fine!

Don%26#039;t tell him where you%26#039;re going - unless he%26#039;s the kind that has to know.

Send him an electronic email card -

free electronic cards - www.123greetings.com - or other site.

- and write your invitation to the lunch with his special girl

as you personalize this electronic greeting card.

HE WILL REMEMBER THIS FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

You will be described as %26quot;AMAZING%26quot; and be remembered by him %26quot;and to his friends as he will brag about what you did for him for the rest of your life. His friends will be jealous if their %26quot;girls%26quot; don%26#039;t do anything special.

p.s. - don%26#039;t ever tell him that the idea came from online, it%26#039;s just between us girls!

GOD bless us one and all, always.

How can I send flowers to someone in a different city?

Short of going to the city and using a credit card.

Also looking for a ballpark guesstimate on price of a delivery.

Thanks

Where can I buy flowers online?

Specifically, I am looking for lavender roses, for my wedding-I found Vera Wang ones by FTD, but I need them for Feb. 19th, and delivery is not available. Does anyone know WHERE else I can find them?

I would also consider calla lillies, and does anyone know when you order if they will tie it for you?

Where can I buy flowers online?
http://www.order-flowers-delivery.com/bu...

has some wonderful lavender roses that are fresh-picked, unlike FTD or 1800flowers.com that have been sitting around storage coolers for days.

I have been using them for years and love their customer service.

You should have no problem getting them delivered on the 19th.

Good Luck!

there are the lavendar ones, they usually ship all year with no problems. As long as your willignt o do the bouquets yourself.
Reply:www.bigrose.com - they have lavendar roses...not sure when they ship by though..I think you could get them in still.
Reply:I ordered all my flowers from www.theflowerexchange.com and I cannot say enough good stuff about them. I used a variety of lilies for my flowers but they do have lavender roses. The price was right, the quality was great, they were stunning. In fact, I loved them so much, I ordered a bunch of flowers for my Thanksgiving celebration.

Good luck!

Reply:Consider SILK--it%26#039;s your best option at this point. Sorry! :(
Reply:Most local florists carry lavender roses. The only ones that I found that were Vera were on ftd.com. My birthday is February 19, can I have flowers? :)
Reply:Do *NOT* order from 1-800-FLOWERS (or 1-800-FLOWERS.com), ftd.com, etc. Go to http://maps.google.com, look up a local florist, and call them. You can even price out a few that way. Trust me, you%26#039;ll be much, much happier.

P.S. I%26#039;m a dude...
Reply:If you want real flowers I found some on 1800flowers.com they had a beautiful bouquet with lavender roses and they had same day delivery. Hope this helps. :0)
Reply:Hi. I recommend www.rosesource.com

The only problem is....the minimum you can buy are 75 and in some shades the minimum is 125.

Here is the link:

I have used this online site for flowers and they were very good. Also, there are many %26quot;shades%26quot; of lavender to pick from.

This place is excellent...the quality...the life of the flower...the price is unbeatable!

My cousin did all of her flowers for the wedding - including alter arrangements and pew decorations...all for under $300 and she still have over 120 roses left over!

Hybrid vs. Gas SUV for delivery vehicles...?

If you were going to order flowers from a florist and you know that one company delivers using a hybrid SUV and the other company delivers using a gas SUV, and the cost is the same, which would you choose? (This is for a class research project.)

Hybrid vs. Gas SUV for delivery vehicles...?
Really good question. in conderation of everything else being

If this is used in an advertisment by the company, it would definately affect my choice -- I would go to the company using the hybrid vehicle. If they used an all electric vehicle I would go to that company. If they used an all electric vehicle that was charged with solar power I would go to that company.

You see where this is leading? Hopefully there will be improving options of vehicles to decrease the carbon load each of us puts into the air.

By the way go see the movie %26quot;An Incovient Truth%26quot; and take someone with you. Movie trailer below You will get a new appreciation for just how serious your questions answers are and how we must change the way people think about CO2 emmisions.
Reply:Wouldn%26#039;t make my decision on that basis.

Hybrid or Gas SUV for delivery vehicles?
hybrid...save the environment :)
Reply:The better choice would be BIOFUEL. You will look like a genius in front of your other classmates. But, be like Spike and do the right thing (save the environment).
Reply:All other things being equal, I%26#039;d go with the one that gets the deliveries done on time. I really don%26#039;t care what kind of vehicle they use to do it with.
Reply:If the cost is the same I might choose the hybrid one (though I am still suspect of the long term impact of hybrids with all those batteries!)

Often the choice would be based more on the friendliness of the people at the store, their service, on-time delivery, selection and quality of the flowers.

And as for cost, would it really be the same? Think Whole Foods. They charge much more than the average grocer. I suspect a Hybrid SUV flower place would be more expensive.
Reply:well given that your business is based on good environmental conditions, i think the obvious answer would be the hybrid SUV

Do you tip someone who delivers you flowers?

I was reading an article on tipping and it said to tip a floral delivery person a few dollars. I%26#039;ve never done that. I might not have any cash on hand. Since it%26#039;s an unexpected delivery and I wasn%26#039;t the one who ordered them, why would I be expected to tip?

Do you tip someone who delivers you flowers?
I%26#039;ve never heard of tipping a flower delivery person, and I%26#039;ve worked in florist shops before, too.

I also work for a pizza chain, and you DO tip them.

But flowers? Generally NO.

Usually when flowers are delivered, they are delivered as a GIFT to the recipient from someone else. RARELY are flowers DELIVERED to the person who ORDERED them. As such, any %26quot;tip%26quot; is the onus of the PURCHASER, not the RECIPIENT. How would YOU like to get a gift and then have the person who GAVE you the gift expect a TIP for giving it to you? Same reasoning.

With Pizza delivery people, the people who are receiving the pizzas are generally the ones who ORDERED them, and thus, the tip is on the ORERERS.

Let%26#039;s switch things around a bit.... A dear friend of yours calls the local Pizza place and says, %26quot;My friend, Mary is really SICK today, and I%26#039;d like to have a PIZZA delivered to her so she doesn%26#039;t have to COOK tonight.%26quot; So, she orders the pizza, gives the delivery instructions, and gives her credit card info to pay for it. Now... do you REALLY think that YOU (being %26quot;Mary%26quot;) should tip the pizza delivery person when YOU didn%26#039;t ORDER the pizza? It should be your dear friend who, on the phone giving the delivery/payment information that says, %26quot;Oh, and please add a $2 tip for the driver when you charge my card!%26quot;... RIGHT???

So... generally speaking, flower delivery people are not tipped for this reason.

Have a polite day.
Reply:Yes. You HAVE to tip the florist delivery man. I%26#039;m a teen and worked in a florist for 2 years and got paid $5 per hour. We walk to deliver (30 minutes at times) and I really get upset when people don%26#039;t even tip. You should tip at least a dollar at least. Report It

Reply:depending on the deliverer of the flowers, i usually tip pizza deliver boys who are friendly, always say enjoy your dinner and apologizes even though he;s on time...

and depend on how clean they look, nails and hair, must be free of grase and dirt!
Reply:No, there was a delivey fee added to the bill of the person who sent them.
Reply:If you feel funny give them a buck, if not no worries, unless you get flowers everyday.
Reply:Most places include the tip with the price. So Unless you live in the middle of no where, don%26#039;t tip.
Reply:You don%26#039;t need to tip to a flower delivery person, because his/her wage is included in the delivery fee, which is already paid by the person who ordered it. Food delivery guys are different, because their wages depend on the tips, just like waiters/waitresses.

With that said, if you received a flower during a snow storm and the delivery person looked like half-frozen, any tip would be greatly appreciated. :-)
Reply:Naah. ya probly paid them enuf.
Reply:cause it is the right thing to do. only tip 1 dollar or something. it doesn%26#039;t have to be a lot.
Reply:No. I wouldnt. Chances are they probably charge a ton for the flowers anyway.
